The Mothman Prophecies was just added to Netflix US. Really solid movie if you haven’t checked it out yet.

More of an atmospheric slow burn, but really well paced and it’s one of the more creepy paranormal/cosmic horror movies I’ve seen in the last 20 years or so.

Something I love about Window’s Bay is that I have no idea what is going to happen

During the actual episode I have some kind of an idea what the conflict is and how it might be resolved, but week to week I have absolutely no idea what each new episode is going to entail. Every episode feels fresh and surprising. Easily my favorite show in a very long time.

LPT Going to local shows is often cheaper than eating out

This might be more relevant for people who live in or near decent sized cities, but going to smaller venue local shows is usually a little less expensive than eating out then going out afterwards. Rarely pay more than $30 for tickets and we always have so much more fun than a normal dinner and brewery night. It’s honestly comparable to going to the movies these days.

I love how normal everyone looks

Everyone has wrinkles. Most of the male characters are balding and overweight. Makes it feel more grounded for me. Easily my favorite show of the year and now I want to rewatch midnight mass for the millionth time.

Loving the tone and atmosphere of each episode. Does a great job oscillating between horror and comedy and Matthew Rhys is fantastic in almost everything I’ve seen him in.

The mockumentary style of The Office never clicked for me so I was hesitant to start St. Denis but I really enjoyed it. Bruce and Matt are hysterical and I love how over the top and lighthearted it is. Was worried it was going to be too corny but it was such an easy watch. Would recommend especially if this isn’t usually the thing you’d go for!
