I have LADA and am still honeymooning. The lat tattoo I got I didn’t know I had LADA but the consent form required me to disclose if I was diabetic. After my diagnosis I was wondering why they would ask that and I found out it was due to the possibility of improper healing. Is this only for uncontrolled glucose and how does it work when you don’t make insulin— or basically I’m asking do you have tattoos , did you get them after diagnosis and how was the healing process (especially if you can compare prior— and I know some of you won’t be able to compare prior as you were young at diagnosis)?
