Has anyone gotten confirmation of enrolment from Western yet? Mine is for graduate studies… waiting patiently..

I guess I didn’t add the correct documentation to state I’m a sole support parent and never married.
I am getting an affidavit sworn by a lawyer on Thursday.

For those who have had to send extra documentation - how quick was the turnaround?

My application says everything else is approved except this one so I’d like to tie up this loose end asap.

I received my confirmed funding on June 29. Everything has been accepted and calculated but said “funding cannot be released because documentation is required”.

When I go to list of documents everything has been uploaded and accepted , *except* marital status. That was uploaded on May 5. Should I reach out to financial aid or sit tight?

Has this happened to anyone?

I received my funding info today . My program is a 12 month cohort based grad program. They showed me calculated amounts and the dates. Does this mean I need to set aside summer tuition amounts even though they only disperse amounts Sept and Jan?

I have gotten status updates on June 2, 12 and 23 saying the same thing “information about your funding will be available mid to end June “ yet no other changes on the application.

Anyone else getting this?

For those who were told they’d find out updates funding in mid-late June, has anyone been updated on the portal yet?

I submitted my application around May 6, added in disability application 2019. Got a notice saying “info on funding ….mid to late June”.

Has anyone gotten a definitive answer on if/how much funding will be allotted to you?

If you submitted all your documents by mid May for Fall 2026 semester, how long does it take for you to get a proper sense on how much money you will get?

Obviously there is no exact date but I’m really just trying to plan.

(Yes I know the money itself is not deposited until September). I’m talking about a decision itself on the money.

I just received a message from OSAP with the following message:

“You must provide the required documents before your application can process any further.”

… except when I go to the documents section it says I don’t need to upload anything else.

“Currently you don’t have any documents or forms to provide”.

I completed my application 2 weeks ago and sent in everything required.
What do I do??? Any help greatly appreciated!

I am talking about the estimator after you’ve filled out the application.
And yes I’ve been accurate and honest entirely.
It projected $2800 grants and $15600 in loans.

Does anyone know if the disability grant is calculated differently for a 12 month grad program? (52 week a year program)

Do you think the application has already taken that into account or will it lower the amount again?

I’m so confused: just did the aid estimator on the OSAP website. It estimated:
$2800 grant (disability ) + $45500 loan = $48300
(Yes this is new estimator for 26-27)

On my application I entered the exact same info and it estimated:
$2800 grant (disability) + $15400 loan = $18200

Why are the loan amounts so different?

(This is for a graduate program)

….. I understand the tuition money is deposited directly to the school but for the remainder amount , when is it deposited and in how frequent instalments? (E.g. once a year or once a semester etc)

Has anyone had luck getting approval for permanent disability with having a mental illness like bipolar? I’ve had this diagnosis since 2012 , my family has been involved with care and prescribes me meds every month. I have an appt with her this week to go over the form. Any advice on how to fill it out?

All my forms are in except the disability form. I meet with my doctor next week.
The status right now says “application received”.
I’ve added bankruptcy discharge and the related documents under optional documents to try to get ahead. (Bankruptcy from 13 years ago; no student loan history)

I had a bankruptcy in 2012. No student loans involved. Discharged with no issues. Have good credit since. I have the certificate.
Will OSAP still approve me? It is for a grad degree.
