So, I got a parakeet and named it Skye. It's only about 3-4 months old, and I'm not entirely sure on gender, but I use 'him' a lot right now. I just wanted some tips when it comes to owning a parakeet. I watch TV with him a lot right now and talk to him, so he can get comfortable in his new home. I've already replaced cookware and stopped using fragrances that could hurt him. But are there any other helpful tips that I could use? I'm a first time parakeet owner
