First pink peony blooms this year.

It's a chocolate cake with 3 layers of chocolate mousse and 1 layer of chocolate ganache.

I decorated it with whipped cream, melted chocolate, sliced almonds, Ferrero Rocher balls, and dried apple slices cut and dipped into dark and milk chocolate. For a touch of colour I added a couple of blueberries.

I have 4 figs planted in the ground.

Location Central Europe.

This year we got temperatues up to -15°C and I think the cold got to them, as they are not sprouting from the branches as they did the previous years.

All 4 figs have started to sprout from the ground, and some bottom branches. But nothing on top or from higher location on the branches.

Some branches are grey and others have a reddish colour.

Should I wait for more growth or cut most of the branches now?
