Thank you to all who took part in the “We’ve just hit 1,000 members” poll. I asked how you wanted to mark the occasion (or rather, how to spend the budget), and this is what won.

So: post a photo or story of your most loved, most used, most quietly falling-apart Bellroy. Tell us what it's been through. Bonus points for anything that's been somewhere interesting, survived something it shouldn't have, or is being held together by sheer stubbornness.

The four best submissions (as judged by me and the mods) get a Bellroy gift voucher. But the real gift is in the storytelling, amiright? :)

Hey everyone! As of next week, I’ll be out of office until mid June, so you’ll be hearing more from my fellow mods while I’m gone. 

Meet u/CallieFromBellroy and u/JayFromBellroy 👋 They’re likely to pop up with their own insights here and there, but feel free to ask/ tag them in any burning questions.

In the meantime, I’m off to Tokyo with a half empty (or half full) Transit Check-in (for records, ceramics, Japanese snacks and trinkets), and a Lite Duffel for any additional carry-on I'll likely accrue along the way. It isn't my first time in Tokyo, but there's so much to see and do, I'd love to hear your recommendations \:)

Since the release of this sling, I've seen that Carryology is a polarising topic in these reddit streets 😅 For anyone who’s been a fan (or, ahem, not a fan), this video they posted last month is a pretty candid 24 minutes addressing a lot of the criticism, detailing where they veered off course and what’s going to change. They’re saying goodbye to affiliates, reviews, awards, and high-frequency collabs and focusing more on exploration, storytelling, and building community.
