Editing to emphasize: I’m really hoping for somewhere in my neighborhood (maybe a hidden gem not full of 21 year olds) or a quick red line ride away. It’s been suggested multiple times but late bar in Avondale is 40+mins on two trains for me 😢
I moved here recently from out of state. I’m in River North and while I love where I live, it seems the majority of the area is tailored to a younger crowd. I want to go out and dance somewhere crowded with late 20s-early 40s people, not 21-24 year olds. Also where I won’t stand out as being solo because I’m a little shy 😭
I like dancing to EDM, top 40 and 80s mainly. Also open to any discos if that’s ever a thing lol. I’m not into hardcore raves or places with heavy drug usage lol. Prefer to have a drink or two.
Any suggestions for places I can easily walk to (probably within 10-15 minutes to be safe) or should I get out of River North for this? I’m right on the red line so anywhere that takes me is fair game as well.
Rode the red line north from state/grand yesterday between 5:45-6:00ish.

I just moved in so I’m planning to add taller decor to the top shelf to balance things out. This is the only wall that would allow for a tv in here lol
