Got CX 50 last week. Have 200 miles on it. And today it went reverse when I had D in gear

Happened an hour ago and I am freaked out very bad! I’m new to hybrid so not if there is anything I did wrong but I have been driving it since last week.

Started my car and reversed my car from my driveway. Then when it straightened, I hit D and accelerated and saw the car started to reverse. I freaked out , saw the dashboard and it had orange light (kind of the one engine light with an exclaimation mark) near the area where the word charge is written where you can see how much is the car charged.

I was in panic as my neighbors car were parked in their driveways and if I continued to go reverse I would have hit them. Didn’t know what to do but kept my foot in brake paddle then moved gear back to P. Waited few seconds, turned on the parking brake. Then prayed a little and shifted gear to D again. Accelerated and it moved forward. I was shaking. But this is scary. We street park closely with Neighbour cars sometimes and I’m so scared and freaked out.

I googled and it said it’s some known issue where the system doesn’t coordinate with something.. I’m not sure…

I can swear I saw that orange light pop up but obviously was panicked and didn’t take photo. Don’t see anything on the app but google says dealership should be able to see it in diagnostic…

Any thoughts? Suggestions? For this hybrid premium what should I check everything I start driving as this was a scary episode for me

Leasing a cx50 - inglot blue

After alot of thought will be leasing cx50. Color we chose is ingot blue. Planning to keep ir for three years and then likely return it.

So not getting PPF or ceramic coating.

I will be using this to drive to work twice a week, 8 hours a day and the temperature does go up to 90s. It won’t be in garage/shade.

Would be in garage at home.

Should I be worried about the color? Or does it matter while on lease

Closing on June 30th

What time should we decide and do we do the final walkthrough a day before? I am thinking do a walk through and wire amount and then next day should be closing. Thoughts?

Do we get keys at the time of closing?

Fairfax county job

Recently interviewed and am pretty confident I will receive a job offer.

The interview was pretty cold and boring so I couldn’t ask alot of questions.

I am unaware of how long do they take to send an offer, what are the benefits and what is their remote policy? Anyone here who knows this? This will be in IT.

Got our inspection report

2013 built home

Location: Northern Virginia

Minor issues but I will list them here to get an opinion which ones do you think we can send to seller for negotiations

  1. water heater has reached end of life but it’s working
  2. Fire door is missing auto closure
  3. garage door safety spring is loose and needs a fix
  4. HVAC furnace has never been serviced and refgirant line is deteriorated
  5. Outdoor AC condenser is not leveled which causes oil to pool unevenly and this shortens the compressor life
  6. drywall patching at multiple places
  7. shower diverter does not engage completely
  8. hardwood floor has chips

Inspection report

Buying a 2013 home and inspector said

Water heater is near the end of life. As its usual life is 13 years after which it should be replaced . Do we have a chance to negotiate this with seller?

My lender wrote my current address incorrect on loan estimate initial disclosure

Same as title. Just one digit is swapped like 123 street is 132 street

It is my current home address that is incorrect on there.. The home I am buying address is correct.

My lender is pushing saying sign it and we will fix it later. Is that ok? Or should I push back?

Down payment for closing in the US

We just got our ratified contract. Closing in a month. I have amount for down payment spread across multiple accounts ( diff jobs over a period of 9 years). The amount for downpayment is high. Around 30k also will come from my spouse.

My bank wire limit is I believe 25k.

GPT said to go to bank to override that limit but I thought payment needs to be done during closing?
