Feeling Behind in Life

I’m about to be 26 this year and sometimes I feel overwhelmed and discouraged because I wasn’t taught English well growing up. I’m still trying to learn things that many people were taught as kids, and it can make me feel really behind in life.

Some days it’s stressful and emotional trying to catch up as an adult. People don’t always understand how hard it is to build confidence when you feel like you missed important parts of your education. Sometimes I just wanna shut my door and cry because it all feels so heavy.

Educational neglect is real, and there are so many adults out here quietly trying to teach themselves the basics later in life. I’m trying not to give up on myself even when it feels hard. I didn’t even type this shit. ChatGPT did.😭😭😭
