Still Austin Naturalist Gin Quick Thoughts

Just had my first sip a few hours ago.

**Positives:** Its got a unique flavor of strong juniper, slate, lime, and orange.

**Negatives:** Its got that Texas burn that all Texas spirits do. Way too harsh.

**Overall:** Its not for me.

I kept in mind that they used to market “women owned” as a big pillar of their company. Which is not a red flag on its own, however, its always concerning when companies choose social issues as a hill to die on.

Anyways, the gin. If you like any sort martini, aviation, or more classical gin drinks… this is not it. This gin is way to floral, way to hot, and way too up front to be put in any sort of spirit forward cocktail.

So I have 150’ of corrugated metal pipe under a parking lot, about 2’ diameter just by visual. It has 4 holes (about every 20’, creating voids) created in it by boring or just age. It does have some minor rusting, but its not consistent or wide spread throughout the section.

Should we replace small sections? Or just the entire pipe?

I just joined the team, and I was put far away from everyone else due to cubes that were taken.

Now a contract worker is leaving, and she wanted to swap desk anyways. I’m getting moved.

Now I’m kind of annoyed. I’m going to have my boss and my bosses’ boss breathing behind me 24/7. I guess this is the perfect spot to shine, but I was thriving away from the group. I had been revising processes and doing well. Now I’m here.

What do I do? Just keep doing what I’m doing? Now I’m going to have to hide my music and podcast way more carefully I suppose. The pressure and how exposed I feel in a cube is amplified a ton now.

I do miss having my own office
