Seeing people post about being raised always makes my day! There is often talk about how we are a dwindling fraternity and membership is down. Seeing people get raised on this forum reminds me that we may be dwindling, but we aren’t gone yet! Stay strong out there Brothers!
Long story short, I was having a ton of feed issues and broken filament detector issues, so I decided to upgrade my K2 Plus to the DXC2 extruder. That didn’t go as planned and I continued to have issues, so I went back to stock, including returning the settings I modified. Now, I’m still getting feed issues and my filament looks funny…thoughts? Clearly, it’s going to have feed issues when it has a cone at the end of the filament like that…

I’m about at my wits end with this error. A few months back, I replaced the hotend control board on my K2 Plus because of a different error. That one cleared, printing went good, then I got this error. I just replaced the filament detector board, changed the nozzle to eliminate a clog, now can’t print still. I don’t want to keep throwing parts at it as the troubleshooting steps aren’t very clear and basically tell you replace the hotend control board if nothing else works. Thoughts? Anyone else with this issue? Should I just suck it up and replace the board again? Will upgrading to the dxc2 extruder maybe help?
