***OSAP. Not soap
I extended my winter semester into summer this year and got approved by my school. They sent me an email back in March to confirm that they have me set up as a summer student just need OSAP approval when the winter term ends.
Logged into ODSP April 20th and it notified me that I’ll be getting my money on April 30th-May 1st. Well it’s May 5th today. Osap is still pending I’m assuming-the website is down (not surprised there) and the NSCL website is telling me I won’t get it until May 12th but “funding is on its way”
I’m so tired of the same bullshit every school year. I got rent and textbooks to pay, food to buy so I can eat. I don’t have time to worry about whether my osap is going to show up. I know I’m not the only one dealing with this but god am I sick and tired of this being an issue for every school student.
