Hi all, I am fairly dependent on having a car for work and life but mine has just been written off after a collision. I'll likely need to hire one for about a week or more while I find a replacement.
Any recommendations for companies would be super, or indeed who to avoid!
For various reasons my time and energy are very limited right now. I have been struggling with maintaining my usual batch cooking/freezing routine* and running low on home cooked options. it’s also sometimes nice to occasionally have something that doesn’t taste like my food 😁
I’ve looked at Stocked and similar before but usually dismissed it as an expensive gimmick. someone on here said they taste quite nice so along with a discount code I figured it was worth a try.
Colour me pleasantly surprised! I don’t have a huge appetite and eat almost everything with a pile of steamed veggies so it’s not too horrifically expensive for a once or twice a week meal for one.
Its not perfect and I wish there were options with higher welfare meat. But it works as a realistic compromise for me and thought it worth mentioning.
(*no tips or tricks on meal prep or batch cooking needed for now, life is just extra tricky in ways I can’t control atm)
