Getting revenge on annoying text message scammers
For the last few weeks I’ve been getting these texts from all sorts of random weird numbers. Typical scam crap like “your Apple iPhone 17 pro order is processed. A debit of $2000 will be taken from your account. If you did not authorize this transaction, please call 888-555-5555.”
I never respond to them, but it’s annoying as fuck to get. I can’t block em because they keep texting from different numbers. So I thought I would see if they like being on the other end of a spam list for once.
I first call the number in the message from a totally different number to ensure it goes to an Indian call center. When I verify it does, that’s when I start my shit lol. I go on every sketchy free quote request website possible and sign their number up for every service under the sun. Solar panels, low cost health insurance, for profit colleges, moving companies, car dealerships, etc.
Strangely enough when I do this, I don’t get a text for a long ass while. Before I would get like three or four a week. It’s the darndest thing…
