Fail to post after sudden shutdown in use, motherboard rgb gets power though.
As the title states: I was mid-game and my pc suddenly shut down. it now will not power on in any way, no post leds, no power led, no fans spin. the rog logo on my mobo does turn on and stay on.
I have tested with a known good ram stick,
no gpu,
reset cmos,
have taken my cpu out and put it into another pc (both am4, thank the gods),
and have actually fully swapped my psu (was a corsair cx650m from ~2018) to a cougar gex pro 750 80+ gold as i thought the psu finally bit the dust.

This setup has been unchanged since january until today. here’s the specs
ryzen 7 5800x
rog strix b450-f gaming (suspected culprit)
32gb kingston fury ddr4 3600
sapphire pulse 9060xt 16gb
i have 2x sata ssd and 1x hdd as well.
psu was swapped as part of troubleshooting.
have tried multiple plugs.
literally every other part has been removed from the equation and the issue persists. I recently did a bios update to latest available to try and get rid of some error messages when booting linux (did not actually fix it but found i can just suppress those and it booted fine)
