Bevel cut on new Sawstop CTs

Bevel cut on new Sawstop CTs

I was setting up my first bevel cut on my CTS and the blade is not clear of the throat plate. I *think* the right procedure is to cut through the throat plate like they do in this video — using a piece of scrap wood on top with clamps and raising the blade the whole way through. But, hoping to get some confirmation before I do something stupid…is this the correct way?

Mat tearing advice

I’m using a Logan bevel cutter with the Logan compact cutter. I use a new blade for every mat and still have a ton of tear out. I’ve tried pulling back on the pressure and it’s not helping. Any advice?

Tso narrow pro

I’m trying to avoid buying a table saw. I have a track, miter and band saws. The YT has told me I need TSO narrow pro to deal with narrow rips. Has anyone tried /used them? If so, would you recommend? If I can do repeatable, narrow cuts with my track saw I feel like the table saw can wait a long while..
