Building MuminMatch — A Matrimony for Believing Men & Women, built around dignity.

One thing that pushed us to start building MuminMatch was the feeling that many Muslim matrimony apps no longer help people serious about their deen and islam, identify each other properly.

Islam does not discourage attraction in marriage. But personally, while trying to find a righteous spouse myself, I often struggled to identify women truly serious about Islam beyond surface-level profiles.

Many profiles speak about “modern values”, but rarely about being firm in Islam, modesty, or seriousness about deen.

That’s the problem we’re trying to address through MuminMatch.

I personally felt that many Muslim matrimony apps no longer feel as dignified as they should. A lot of them feel heavily influenced by modern dating culture, where appearance becomes the center of everything.

Islam does not discourage attraction in marriage. But personally, while trying to find a righteous spouse myself, I often struggled to identify women truly serious about Islam beyond surface-level profiles.

Many profiles talk about “modern values”, but very rarely do I see things like being firm in Islam, seriousness about deen, modesty, or genuinely wanting a marriage centered around faith.

And honestly, after using these platforms for a while, it started making me lose hope and wonder whether people deeply committed to Islam even exist there anymore.

I feel women serious about their deen may also be experiencing something similar from the other side.

That’s the problem I want to address through MuminMatch — by building something more respectful, intentional, and built around dignity.
