How do you edit TikTok videos more professionally with the safe zone in mind?

Hi! I’ve been posting TikTok videos recently, and I’m struggling with the safe zone/layout issue.

There are so many UI elements on screen (captions, buttons, account info, etc.), and sometimes they end up covering my subtitles or B-rolls.

I’m wondering:

  • How do experienced editors deal with this?
  • Is there any good way to preview what parts of the screen might get covered while editing?
