Transfering out of USC to pursue engineering major at other colleges

Viterbi advisors told me that I have a slim chance as a pre-engineering to get into Viterbi due to not making B or above in one of the required classes. So I'm thinking about transfering to other school that will accept me into their engineering program. Has other people tried this route because I don't want to do any other thing but engineering? Coud I sent application to transfer to other colleges while attending USC for another year to fullfill pre-requisite courses for other college engineering programs?

For those who are currently Chemical Engineering majors, or who have graduated with this degree, how difficult are CHEM 305, CHEM 330, and CHEM 350?

And those who have graduated, what field did you go into?

Are there other fields outside of chemical engineering that someone can enter without a graduate degree? If a graduate degree is needed, what master’s degree did you pursue?
