Decided to rewatch The Northman for the first time and despite it being my least favorite Eggers film so far, about 3/4 of the way through I had the idea to cut the color on my TV down to 0. Holy shit, the difference it makes. While majority of my qualms with the movie have nothing to do visually, putting it in black and white gives it a whole other vibe.

Watching the Evil Dead II 4k for the first time and within the first 4ish minutes, the scene where Ash says “Hey there’s a tape recorder here” Ash’s audio kinda cuts randomly. Instead of saying “Hey there’s a tape recorder” it abruptly cuts and like “-Y there’s a tape recorder here”

Just wanted to know if it’s a thing with all of the 4k discs or just mine or a player issue. I checked on HBO Max and it doesn’t happen there.
