Can I pick up an inmate (who’s going for a community release to a halfway house) up in a limo or party bus or just car service in general?
This inmate is my Father, love him dearly, the crime he did was against a weirdo… pretty much everyone likes him. He’s easy going and has worked really hard to get where he is now.
I understand the gravity of the situation, the impact it had on the victims family and communities but this really isn’t for him, it’s for myself and my partner and to show off that I’m kinda rich hehe, also, so we can spend quality time with him and it limits the awkward “hey, can we stop here” questions. It also ensures we arrive there on time and don’t have to worry about driving.
I also understand the position it puts him in regards to how the authorities view him. I’ve heard halfway houses look for any reason to send you back if you have a responsible, genuine support from your community support person that will do anything for you.
Would there be any requirements, steps, paperwork and/or restrictions when it comes to that? I would hope I get a call from the institution confirming all the details ect, if they do call I will certainly ask. Just want some insight and a somewhat definitive answer.
Thanks ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your service! Any feedback is much appreciated
