Recently our washer has always come to a stop during the first drain period of permanent press. I'm guessing there's a bad contact in the timer, is this likely the case? Only thing throwing me off is that it seems to start draining for a second before it ultimately stops, so I'd assume the contact for that part partially works maybe? It also stopped working near after somebody put a very large item in it which caused it to shake around and be unbalanced. I'm guessing that's not related though? Or could that have knocked some control wire loose? Overall it's not a super urgent issue as we've been using it on regular (that mode works fine) although come summer I'd like to be able to use P.P. mode on my dress shirts. Also, any good place I can find manuals for washing machines? The model of our unit is LHA7680N1 but I can't find any service manuals online.

I'm planning on trying to repair the timer over summer and if that fails buy a new OEM one off ebay ($30-$60 bucks). If anyone has any suggestions or wisdom though I'd be happy to hear.

Also, the belt has started squealing for a bit every once and a while for the first few seconds of the agitation cycle. Can this likely last until summer when I can replace it?
