I mixed ginger and separated juice and fibers
So the juice is now in my ginger beer bottle ans all the fibers and skin is in the bug jar.
If I don't come back to give news tomorrow that will probably be because my appartment blown.

My first ginger bug

History:
I put a lot of brown sugar (really much), ginger and water.
I opened it and shaked it every day and I was hearing some air exiting the jar but no visible bubbles.
It smelled ginger and some fermentation, almost like dish soap, which surprised me.
This during approximately two weeks at around 28°C.
Then I left my home so I put it in the fridge during one week.
The pics are before and after shaking it today.
It smells like ginger and nothing else.
The appearance is not quite... appealing. What do you think?

Does anyone faces delay from Farmerleaf currently?
I sent an email to them, it seems transportation from China to Europe is instable for the moment.
I ordered on 24th June and I still don't have any tracking number. I wonder if some of you got issues as well.
