There are a few things I cannot reconcile in my brain to let me be apart of this organization. 1.) why the end of times wasn’t triggered by the transatlantic slave trade? Something so horrific and literally changed the trajectory of the history of the world wasn’t enough? Why wasn’t that the catalyst?? 2.) JWs in Jim Crow south, practicing segregation. You’re not of this world, yet you segregate to worship a God that loves everyone??🤔🤔🤔 3.) The religious leaders that put their lives on the line(black, white and Jewish) to end segregation were deemed bad people because they weren’t JWs really throws me for a loop.
I’ve tried asking my brother about this( he’s an elder) but he’s just like, it would’ve been too hard to buck the system.
Anyone else have a hard time reconciling this in their mind. There are plenty of other things about this religion that has nothing to do with race that I dislike as well, but I wonder if I’m alone in this thinking.
