Hi all! I’ve struggled for many years to find shoes that fit my wide feet and I swear it gets worse every year. Info to note: women’s size 8 (USA). Width, according to tracing my foot, is 3.75in (9.5cm). Which according to charts I found online Wide D.

I recently went to a New Balance store and used the virtual measurement machine. It said I was between a regular and wide, however even their XW felt way too snug on me.

So according to two different measuring tools, I should only have a Wide D foot. But I haven’t found a wide shoe that fits me in years. Even a size 7 men’s wide is too tight.

Anyone else have this issue? Am I measuring wrong?
