Garmin & Apple Watch?
I’ve been an AW user for years now and wear it daily. I only use it to track runs, walks, hike, strength, and to keep up to date with any notifications. I don’t use it to reply to texts or calls, and I don’t wear for sleep tracking (I tried it once but only had about 3 hrs sleep but it told me I’d had 8.. so never bothered since).
I love how the AW it integrates with my phone and think the system is so slick compared to what I’ve seen of Garmin. I get Garmin is a sports watch’s and Apple is a smart watch, but really I only use my AW as a fitness tracker mainly anyway.
The battery is the problem for me. I charge it overnight which isn’t an issue but if I do a few workouts in the day the battery is almost gone.
I’m thinking of getting a cheaper forerunner to wear for runs or other workouts and then thinking I could just wear my AW for the rest of the day… does anyone else do this?
I know the benefits of wear the watch all day and night to track body battery etc, but I’m not fussed on those stats. I just want the stats from my workouts which I feel Apple covers fine anyway
