Check this out, pretty detailed interview with Dave

Check this out, pretty detailed interview with Dave

I really appreciate how transparent Dave has been with the community. It genuinely makes me feel like I’m part of the RIOT/UVS’ team. Seeing the behind the scenes side of things helps me better understand the game’s current issues and also regulate how I feel about them, because I know they’re actively working on solutions.

I never had this experience with any other game tbh and I’ve been playing for like 20 years

Dave if you see this Ik its not just you and there’s bunch of teams working on this game to make it better, we just wanna say thank you, to you and your team. you all the best senpais

Remember When We Couldn’t Even Get a Riftbound Pack?

Just saw this and honestly it made me realize how much RIOT and UVS have improved things. There’s clearly way more Riftbound stock now compared to the initial release.

Before, people could barely even find a single pack. Now we’re seeing people buying boxes in bulk both online and in store. The fact that they managed to improve supply this much within just the first 3 sets is honestly pretty impressive for a brand new TCG.

Big respect to RIOT and UVS for actually listening to the community and taking action

Another Jensen Huang Quote Taken Completely Out of Context

Oh please Americans, let’s learn media literacy and stop getting swayed by manipulative headlines. Jensen never called Americans stupid. He criticized the analogy comparing AI chips to nukes, which is completely different.

Jensen has consistently pushed for the American tech stack to lead globally. NVIDIA is one of the biggest reasons the US is ahead in AI infrastructure today and literally was carrying the entire country’s economy

People seriously need to start questioning why companies like Anthropic keep pushing extreme AI fear narratives online.

Every week it’s:
“AI will destroy democracy.”
“AI will collapse society.”
“AI will threaten national security.”
“AI could attack banks and hospitals.”

And then right after the fear campaign comes the solution:
More government control, more regulations, more audits.

But who benefits the most from those rules? The giant AI companies that already have billions of dollars and political connections.

That’s why more people are starting to see this as manipulation disguised as safety.

The article even points out that people connected to Anthropic were pushing AI fear narratives while also supporting regulations that Anthropic is already built to handle.

That should concern everyone.

AI absolutely should be discussed responsibly, but the public also needs to understand that fear is powerful. If people become scared enough, they’ll support almost any policy without questioning who actually benefits from it.

We should stop blindly believing every AI doomsday narrative circulating online and start asking:
Is this really about public safety or about protecting corporate power?

Not gonna lie, I went in expecting the usual first launch chaos but it’s actually been really fun. Our LGS was packed with people learning the game, opening product, trading and helping each other build decks. It reminded me why card game communities are enjoyable in the first place.

Still early of course, but so far the whole launch has felt way more polished and welcoming than I expected. Curious how everyone else’s locals are going.
