pain during/after walking

My fibromyalgia is usually at its worst when I'm walking. If I'm lucky enough to not feel it while walking, I feel the after effects for hours afterwards. Does anyone else experience this? I've been sat in non stop pain in my legs for the past two/three hours because I walked an hour today (in two separate half hour journeys) and it just feels like I get punished for trying to walk. I don't know how to make it stop. I feel so lazy when I'm struggling to walk and see people my age zooming past me with no issues. I miss being able to walk freely.

am I cooked

I applied to Uni of Nottingham through clearing the other day and received and confirmed an offer. However, I’ve just received this email today at 10:45am and saw it after the mentioned deadline at 2:00pm on the same day? They also said a completely different name on the email so I’m unsure if they sent it to me by mistake or maybe the name was autocorrected?

I’m a bit confused as surely a three hour window to see and respond to this email on a Saturday can’t determine if they withdraw my place or not, especially as I didn’t have my phone on me during that time. I didn’t expect any email like this today, again with it being a Saturday. I’m just a bit stressed now 😭

edit: thank you kindly for your response and advice everyone! :)

Unfortunately, I did respond and send them my results 😖 it is most definitely a scam now that I’ve read your responses and actually think about it. I’ll call them on Monday when they open regardless just to make them aware and ask if there’s anything else I need to do. Thank you all again!

Verifile DBS check

Hii! I’ll be joining Bristol uni in September and got an email a couple days ago about a DBS check I need to have before my course, and how Verifile will be in contact separately to do this.

Does anyone know roughly when this email is sent and how long it takes? :) I’m just worried that I’ll somehow miss the email or receive it late and be unable to start the course, since on Bristol uni’s website it states it needs to be done within three months before the course starts but I only got the email a couple days ago so I’m a bit unsure.

Thank you!

owing over £2k to universal credit

At the beginning of September, I started an access course and this meant I had to reduce my hours to part time (roughly 21 hours a week) and I applied to universal credit for financial support while I completed my course.

I work a desk job and alongside working onsite, some days I work from home either only for a couple hours in the morning or the full day. I work at an emergency dental practice so full days can range from 12 - 15 hours.

However, I don’t get paid a very legal wage when I work from home. It’s £6 an hour but I never complained since it adds up over time and I’m at home and sometimes the phones aren’t too busy.

I recently got a letter from universal credit that I’ve been overpaid about £2.2k since I’ve started receiving UC payments. I logged into my HMRC account and realised that my work from home payments haven’t been reported. They don’t appear on my payslips, I get a bank transfer for them and they’re not formal hours since I randomly get asked to do certain days when I’m free.

On HMRC, it only shows my payslips (when I’m actually working onsite). For my UC overpayments, it says it’s due to late reporting of earnings from my employer. Does this mean HMRC has flagged my work from home payments as suspicious or has my workplace reported my work from home payments late? I’m really stressed and confused as I’m not sure what’s been declared and what hasn’t as I assumed my employer would declare all my income to HMRC, including phone payments.

I don’t want to get my workplace in trouble but now I’m incredibly stressed and confused about this overpayment I owe and don’t know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.

Could my (20f) be developing into melanoma?

I 20f noticed that my birthmark (on my back) was coming off when I scratched it a little. I went to take a picture and noticed that it looks a bit irregular and there’s different colours (some light brown on the borders). I was wondering if it looks like it could be developing into melanoma? It isn’t itchy or bleeding so I’m not too worried but wanted to check :)
