A coworker told me that if you have the Authenticator app on your phone, the company can track your activity. Has anyone else heard this? Do you think it’s true?

I’ve been with the company for almost six months. During my second month, I contacted the IT Help Desk about this issue and was told they were working on a fix. I now have an IT ticket that has been open for 20 days regarding the problem, and I still haven’t received a response.
My Work & Life drop-down tab is completely missing from the Hub. Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a way to fix it?
