Is this real..? Or is it at least a really good replica?

Gifted to me by a family member. They say it’s the original jersey and shorts he wore in his first all American game… i highly doubt it because… i mean… what would be the odds?!?! lol. Is it just a well done replica of the jersey and shorts, done around that time..???? Is it worth anything if it IS just a replica?? Ive held onto it, not knowing what to do with it for all these years… any half-way experts knowledge would be an amazing help!
