Incoming freshman needing info

I’m reposting this because I want to see if there’s anything else I might be missing. I’m an incoming freshman to NB SOE (likely Industrial Engineering, but TBD) and I will also be dorming at B.E.S.T. Hall through the DAYFN LLC, which I have a roommate for. That being said, do you guys have any advice literally at all?

I want to know absolutely everything you wish someone told you before your freshman year/earlier in your college experience. This can be anything from academics to resources to food places, and can be as specific as one exact teacher or as broad as how to adjust to the change from high school to college. Give me ANYTHING you can think of that might help me. Niche little things are greatly appreciated.

Is this schedule manageable?

Incoming freshman to NB SOE. I have taken many AP classes so I am able to skip quite a few gen eds, and I'm wondering if the schedule I put together is going to be manageable.

Here is the recommended first year schedule, but all of the classes I have credit for have been replaced by the name of the AP class that allows me to skip it:

First Semester

14:440:101  Introduction to Data-Driven Design for Engineering Applications (2 credits)
01:160:159  General Chemistry for Engineers (3 credits)
AP Chem
AP Lang
AP Calc AB
01:750:123  Analytical Physics I (2 credits)
AP World

Second Semester

14:440:102  Integrated Data-Driven Design for Engineering Applications (2 credits)
01:160:160  General Chemistry for Engineers (Chem 2) (3 credits)
01:640:152  Calculus for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (4 credits) OR 4+ on Calc BC (will get score in the coming months, very confident I got a 4+)
01:750:124  Analytical Physics IB (2 credits)
14:440:221  Engineering Mechanics: Statics (3 credits)
APUSH

Other gen eds
01:640:251: Multivariable Calculus
01:640:244: Differential Equations
01:750:227/229: Analytical Physics 2A/2A Lab
14:440:221: Engineering Mechanics: Statics
14:540:343: Engineering Economics

2 Humanities/Social Science Electives OR 1 elective and 4+ on AP Comp gov

I want to get all of my gen eds out of the way my freshman year. I made this schedule, assuming that I will be able to skip that calc class with my calc BC score:

First semester

14:440:101  Introduction to Data-Driven Design for Engineering Applications (2 credits)
01:160:159  General Chemistry for Engineers (3 credits)
14:540:343: Engineering Economics
14:440:221  Engineering Mechanics: Statics (3 credits)
01:640:251: Multivariable Calculus
01:750:123  Analytical Physics I (2 credits)

Second semester

14:440:102  Integrated Data-Driven Design for Engineering Applications (2 credits)
01:640:244 Differential Equations
01:160:160: General Chemistry for Engineers 2 (3 credits)
01:750:124  Analytical Physics IB (2 credits)
01:750:227/229: Analytical Physics 2A/2A Lab
For an elective either General Psychology or Introduction to Entrepreneurship

Some info on the actual schedule:

  1. Engineering mechanics has one section open and is always at 8 am

  2. This one of the very few variations of the schedule that does NOT have either calc filling the 3 other 8 am spots, calc stupidly late at night, or a string of 5 classes without breaks on Wednesdays

  3. Basically, this is the best it will get, other than my preference as to where a few classes fall throughout the middle of the day on some days

The real question: Is rigor of these classes in each semester going to be too much? Is the schedule attached above going to cause me any problems that I wouldn't think of?
