Random musings from Shattered Throne

This morning I figure I’ll go solo for the “Kill Dul Incaru with Wish Ender and it’s been since just before Season of Black Armory (or whatever it was called lol) so I’m doing it from memory and a map of Erebus on my phone.

\- I have no memory of where or when the Ogres spawn on the thin platforms so I have never been so nervous doing that bit lol.

\- I’ve never been a fan of Lament because I didn’t understand how to effectively combo with it but I decided to look that up.

\- Getting Vorgeth to the damage phase wasn’t so bad, went to town with Lament and then struggled to get back to my starting position afterwards. I looked at his health and see that he almost dies. My new plan once I have done this is to complete its catalyst thanks to that success. A few runs later and I have the “Kill Vorfeth using one ignition” triumph.

\- I get to Dul Incaru with no plan other than Stormtrance on the Knights and the Psions (my usual) and then Whisper to lower her health and then switch to Wish Ender if I need a second phase.

\- This goes as well as expected as I do not account for the Knights shielding if I take too long, needing to cleanse the Finite Thought buff if I run out of time or even the existence of the Crystal and its use.

\- 10 deaths later after some trial and error and I got the Pallas Galliot ship. I thought I already had that lol.

Like I said, really random and probably pointless musings lol. I figured I’d post something something light hearted from this run.

Deleted then reposted for errors

I was recently just doing a little bit on Grasp of Avarice because it’s been a long time since I was last on it. Tuesday I was doing the Ogre encounter through weekly reset (I even got the Lost Sector notification during a damage phase). I beat the ogre, go down to the bottom of the facility before the Sparrow run and die opening the wrong door. I figure that’s enough, I’ll give it a proper run on Wednesday and leave the encounter.

I loaded the game up on Wednesday and I still have the checkpoint for the sparrow run. Did it keep the checkpoint because I was still doing the ogre when weekly reset hit and then it saved the checkpoint when I died or does weekly reset no longer reset checkpoints?

Forgive the rambling lol

I list it as #84 but it’s around #46 for those that I care about. The Adventures start off as a chore until you get a bit of money and then they’re just like the rest of the game.

Probably my favourite completion since Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age

A few days ago I made a post about Atma of the Archer where I was unsure of how many I had collected. I have now collected all twelve Atma and have them visible in my inventory.

I have returned to Jalzahn with all twelve and selected “Relic Weapon Zenith Enhancement”, first with the weapon equipped and then without the weapon equipped and all I’m getting is the text about obtaining twelve Atma and where to review it. I’ve reviewed it in the Journal and it says to go to Jalzahn.

I’m really confused as to what I’m missing here. I have the twelve Atma, I have the zenith weapon and I have the “Up in Arms” quest in my journal in the complete section and yet I cannot upgrade the weapon.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Having just hit my yearly goal of 500 achievements in my fastest time yet (no shovelware too) I figured I would ask everyone how they are doing on their goals on the site and gaming in general.

I won’t beat my best for a year which is 1464 achievements because I only intend on starting 2 more games this year (Forza Horizon 6 and Tekken 8) so I fall behind my personal best pace pretty quickly
