This is prolly gonna sound super cringe but...

This was SO HOT!? This is one reason why I love Reddit's anonymity: because it lets me gush over moments like this that genuinely turn me on but I can't utter in front of my folks with my identity intact!

The Kogoro hawtness factor just scraped all sorts of skies and horizons in this moment!! And even later when he >!grabs Eri's hand and tells Takagi that the police proceedings will have to wait because he has a movie and dinner date with her, while looking at her with the most charming piercing eyes!<, oof the way I swooned!

There's something so irresistibly sexy when a man just claims his woman, and OH HOW I CRAVE TO SEE THIS SIDE OF KOGORO MUCH MUCH MORE OFTEN! I know they can't give away all the happy endings already, but they can certainly have more of these sexy Kogoro moments for my hopelessly romantic fangirl heart, can't they? 😭

Shinichi is a bit of a gossip gyal too? 😂

Just watced "Zero the Enforcer" and while >!Shinichi and Furuya felt that they might end up dying inside the car, Shinichi goes, "I've been meaning to ask you this for a while..." and asks this question!?!<

I was so amazed at this point! He always seems to be purposefully ignoring the girls (Ran, Sonoko, Sera, Ayumi) when they strike up conversations like this!! And to think that this is the last question he wanted to ask a pal right before they died together!? Hella unexpected but also a little cutesie and wholesome (and prolly cringe depending on who you ask XD).

About Haneda Koji's dying message!

Just finished watching the "Just Like a 17 Years Old Crime Scene" episodes, and I have a short question:

>!Was it merely coincidental that this victim's dying message utilised the same technique that Haneda Koji's did?!<

Because as far as I could understand, by the end of both the episodes, it's clear that this victim's technique helped Shinichi >!and Akai!< uncover what the >!running water and glass shards at Haneda's hotel room meant!<, but was it merely coincidental that the same dying message technique struck two people right before their respective deaths, or is there something deeper here, some missing link between the current victim and Haneda Koji that we're missing atm?

I'm 85-year-old Misae and I absolutely need your help!

I am honoured to say that this adorable nutbag is my grandson. Those of you who have ever watched any television may know him as the infallible Inspector of the Gunma prefecture: Misao Yamamura the one and only!

My poor cheebs is missing only one thing in life: he has been unable to take himself a bride. I am trying to be a good oba-chan and have told him that he may bring home a groom too, if that's what he wants because (sigh) I am trying to keep up with the times and I know that this is what kids do these days.

But oh well, he hasn't done so as yet: pookie here is making his oba-chan wait endlessly. Now I used to be a patient one in my prime but I'm not sure how much more time I have left as my days are numbered. Thus, I wish to mobilise all your collective wisdom to find my Mi-chan a lovely ship! Please whisper here, into my ear, whom you'd like to see as my Mi-chan's lover, and this oba-san will forever be in your debt (I love driving in these hills of mine and if you help me out, I'll treat you to a thrilling drive through the mountain fog one of these nights ❤️). Thank you so much!

Cried my first DC tears ever at the end of movie 20

Genta in this pic is me right now: hella enchanted and hella teary-eyed! 😭

What a ride you were, movie 20!

I love me a storyline where a central character undergoes a complete transformation before my eyes and changes my >!hate for them into admiration and adoration! Curaçao was the first DC character!< to do that in a meaningful way!

Even though we have had people who were presented as bag guys and turned out to be good guys >!(e.g. Jodie, Furuya)!<, they only ever inspired a feeling of fear and unease during their bad phases, not utter hatred: after all, suspicions only remain so potent before they're confirmed. Plus eventually, I just realise that they were the good guys all along and my negative emotions were unfounded to begin with, dismissing them away quickly. But this time was different: this time, there wasn't an illusion, a wrong assumption made about someone's true identity. The hate, the love: it was all very much based in reality and yet, one flowed into the other just as naturally as one wave into another.

Curaçao changed so much for me: not only was she a full-on high-level mega competent >!BO member!<, but she also got >!3 foreign intelligence officers killed across three countries, and almost got Bourbon and Kir killed too!<. All of this felt very concrete and significant damage, especially since the latter are characters we have come to associate with and get attached to. Thus, I had pure hatred in my heart as the movie started.

But oh oh oh: how that changed! There were pure childlike sparks fluttering around her as she spent time with the kids, she had a protective and nurturing instinct that gets automatically activated without a second thought for a random annoying kid who should be a nobody to her ❤️ she looked genuinely sad and guilty to find out that she had prolly done some bad things when the >!PSB and MPD took her into custody, during the time she hadn't recovered her memory.!<

And can enough ever be said about the climax? It was a full circle moment when she realised that she had experienced pure bliss and happiness thanks to the kids - perhaps for the first time in her life? - and that she didn't want to go back from that and lead a cowardly suppressed life. Even when she had found a way out to make sure she'd escape safely, she went back repeatedly and fought till her last breath to make sure that not only were the kids safe, but also a buuunch of other people in the >!aquarium!<, despite going through some bodily gore.

And how she >!died holding onto the little 🐬 treasure from the darts corner!<: that absolutely broke me 😭😭😭 I think she'll always be the >!Matsuda to my Sato!<: I went from hating her to falling in love with her, in all too little a time, she was taken away from me in all too little a time and I'll never recover from this! She could've finally been the bestie haibara always deserved but never truly found in all these years (I'm sorry but Conan doesn't count: my girl needs more heart-to-heart resonance and companionship in her life to heal from her bone-deep trauma than that mystery nerd can provide): they both would've been perfect for each other, my two favourite characters healing and growing together :')

Thus, this scar shall not be forgotten Gosho and team, and I hope you come up with just as goated characters going ahead so that I don't think that all you did was merely waste pure gold potential 😭

Takagi keiji vs. Ohtaki-han

I've often noticed how Conan refers to his closest police aid as Takagi keiji, whereas Heiji refers to his as Ohtaki-han.

Since both play equivalent roles in our high school detectives' lives, I'm wondering why Gosho chose to have them be addressed differently. Since I'm not japanese, I also thought that this may be hinting at a clear cultural distinction that is escaping me.

Thus, if someone has a theory regarding why this difference exists, I'd love to know! Thanks :DD
