No Traffic on Friday before Memorial Day

The Friday before Memorial Day and the route to the Cape is completely green. Has everyone simultaneously concluded that the Cape is now too crowded and expensive and gone to Rhode Island or Maine instead?

My friend loves ML’s coffee so was going to get her a gift card to put in a card for her first Mother’s Day. Is the shop in Yarmouth still open? Google listing says yes, the Mary Lou’s website doesn't list it as a location. Call went to vm.
