Hello! :D Incoming BSOT freshie from Las Piñas, and I’ve been deciding if I should buy a laptop for college. Are we really going to need it? Is it required? Do we have to bring it to school? Would a tablet be okay?

I’m hesitant to buy one because my parents won’t let me bring it to school anyway (unless VERYY needed) since I’ll be commuting, so I'd prefer to get a PC instead and “maybe” a cheap tablet some other time if needed to help me get through the next 4 years.

I would love to receive insights from OT students on what devices helped them throughout their OT school journey! Advice would be very much appreciated toooo.
