What does 50 years with horses teach you about trust?

Greetings from Finland! I've spent over 50 years working with, training, and learning from horses—especially young foals and trotting horses.

Over the decades, the single most important thing I've learned is that real progress always begins with trust and patience, not force. Understanding the horse as a true partner changes everything in the barn and on the track.

I'd love to hear from this community: What is the most important lesson a horse has taught you about trust? 🐴
