Sacramento Rivercats

What a great night at Sutter Health park in Sacramento. Sacramento Rivercats vs Sugar Land Space Cowboys (I love minor league team names.

Got there 2 hours early to get a "Bobblehead" card of Bryce Eldridge. As we were sitting down, one of the field workers came out the gate and gave my 10 year old son a game used broken bat and said, "This is for showing up early. I enjoy when kids show up early for games." What an experience. On top of that, got to see Logan Webb pitch on a rehab assignment and we were part of a between innings fan game. What a great father and son day.

Sutter Health field 2 years ago

Sutter Health park in Sacramento, home of the Rivercats and A's. Fan fest day for the Giants and took this photo as they were getting the field updated for the AAA and MLB season.

Tough family week, so son and I went to a card store

We lost my mother in law, my 10 year old's grandmother. Funeral was this past week. To keep him and I busy a day before the funeral as my wife was helping with funeral preparations, my son and I went to a card store in San Jose. We went through 400 single cards to find a Steph Curry. My mother in law was a huge Warriors fan and loved Steph Curry. So, we put the Steph Curry in the coffin with her. Found some other single card (Burries McDonald card) and my son wanted the 25/26 holiday box. He wanted a Copper Flagg and he finally got 1. His excitement was so awesome on a hard end of the week.

Costco pull

A Gaints fan so I was fairly happy to pull this today. Just a shame that he has to be sucking it up this year.
