M.2 SSD stopped working!
I don’t know if this is the right place to post this issue, yet it happened on the pro so I will do it anyway.
I’ve had a 1TB Seagate FireCuda M.2 SSD for almost four years. It was originally installed in my PS5, and about a year ago I transferred it to my PS5 Pro. I never had any issues with it until tonight.
While I was playing a game that wasn’t even installed on the SSD, the PS5 Pro suddenly shut off. After restarting the console, it no longer recognized the SSD. I removed and reinstalled it, then powered the console back on. The PS5 prompted me to format the SSD, but the formatting process stopped at 13%, the console restarted, and the same thing happened again. After that, the PS5 stopped recognizing the SSD altogether.
No issues at all, not even once, until tonight!
Anyone has faced such a problem before? And if anyone has any recommendations or suggestions that could help, please let me know.
