Just wondering how difficult it is to join the local 420 steamfitters. Im in a service thech apprenticeship program through a private company that is very sales based and I have a feeling im not gonna vibe with it in the long run. I guess my main question is like how competitive is it to try to get in, will my experience in the trade for a bit help, do I need to know someone? I see the next apprenticeship class in February I will have about a year experience by that time. Should I apply now or wait to do so?
