So I know there are no good answers to this…but when does everyone think I might get a response (good, bad, hw or otherwise)?

Father has only ever lived in Italy and within the NY consular district. He is current and registered with AIRE.
I submitted all required documentation, all was apostilled, translated and all Italy docs were within 6 months.

I’m hoping it’s within a year but NY has really been all over the place this past year. I know they have 2 or 3 years now to actually process.

This post is mostly to make me feel better I think 🤷🏻‍♀️
