TIMEX Waterbury fly back chrono with an aftermarket single pass NATO.

The case is definitely in the right price tier, but the dial and complication punch well above their weight. The fly back is fun, I dig the “hidden” GMT function, and the way the hands move from chrono to regular mode is mesmerizing. All for less than $300!

If anyone knows of a similar layout at a higher level of finishing please let me know in the comments. I’m now wanting a more refined chrono but this is gonna be a fun one to knockabout with!

Loving the design and the complication. She’s pricey for a Baltic but definitely a breath of fresh air. What do you think?

Got a new FKM strap for the GS. Looks nice and feels solid. I’m gonna try a micro adjust clasp on the strap next but even the one it came with was good for the $. Happy Friday everyone.
