Reinstated after CC chaos...and deactivated...again?
Like so many of you, my account was deactivated by the bot during Calamari Chaos onboarding.
I could see an empty dashboard, that's it. But after 10-15 tickets and attending a webinar where Admin Adam was there, my account was reinstated. I was so relieved! BUT THEN, I started a task, paused it, and went to bed.
Wake up and see Outlier's Google sign-in feature isn't working. I tried "forget password" and that's when the page says my account is deactivated. AGAIN. And this time, I can't see the dashboard or access the helpdesk or anything.
And the worst part is that I actually have a Big Leek task running that I can't resume 😭
Update:
Reddit community managers: If you see this, please note that several other people are facing this issue. Our accounts are being reactivated, and then we are being locked out through Google Sign-In. I'm not sure why this is happening and if this is because things are being fixed at the backend, but some communication would be great as we are now left fully high and dry (without even being able to access our Outlier IDs.)
Re: Update:
Support has informed me that a manual review has revealed violations (no clue what they are) and my account is permanently deactivated. I can't even access my earning records, which is completely unethical. At least they said they'll clear my dues (although they haven't yet), so that's something, I guess.
Has this happened to anyone else?
