Hello all, I’ve been a correctional officer for several years and been wanting to make the switch to county to be a detention deputy. My only concern is the polygraph test. I’ll be honest, I’ve done some stupid things when I was younger but made a complete 360 once I had kids. I’m just curious to know that if I’m completely honest with the questions they ask and let them know that’s no longer my life. Would I still have a chance of getting the position?

Hello all, I recently adopted a Dogo and I get to pick her up Friday. Shes is in pretty rough shape and malnourished/underweight. But I am excited to help her get back to where she should be. I want to put her on a raw diet or at least a 50/50 raw/kibble diet. I just need some guidance. I’ve never done any of these diets before. Everything I look up online seems a bit much for starting out. I just want a very basic recipe to start off them I can gradually add more as time goes on. Any advice is greatly appreciated and she’s roughly 3 years old give or take

Hello all, I’m currently debating on making the career switch to waste water from working as a corrections officer. I don’t have any certs so this will be completely new to me but I am willing to learn and put in the work. I just don’t want to work at a prison the rest of my life, as well as being tired of the toxicity at that job. I’m currently in central Florida. Any insight and advice would be greatly appreciated.
