Visiting Miami Beach this weekend with a group, any tips for getting day access to the Fontainebleau without buying a cabana?

Heading down this weekend with a large group, most of them are staying at the Fontainebleau but a few of us booked elsewhere. We'd love to be able to hang with the group at the hotel during the day without spending a fortune on a cabana rental.

A few things I'm wondering:

Is there a day pass option that doesn't break the bank?

Can non guests access the pool area at all?

Are there any restaurants or bars on property where you can hang without needing to be a hotel guest?

Any other tips or workarounds from locals or people who've been recently?

Would love any advice, thanks in advance!

I’m trying to figure something out and would love input from this sub.

Every Wednesday I play pickup basketball at 5:30. On most Wednesdays, I follow a fasting routine where I avoid meat, dairy, eggs, and fish (shellfish is allowed). On those days, I usually get a sofritas bowl from Chipotle (no cheese or sour cream).

On non-fasting Wednesdays (which are rare), I’ll get my usual bowl with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 steak, plus the full toppings including cheese and sour cream. (Full orders on the pictures)

Here’s what I’ve noticed:

The past two weeks, I didn’t fast, and I felt incredible during basketball, like I had a second engine. I could run hard and play 6–7 games with no problem.

But during fasting weeks (including Lent), I feel completely different, low energy, unfocused, and gassed by the 3rd game.

I’m trying to understand what’s causing such a noticeable difference in performance. Is it lower overall calories? Not enough protein? Lack of fats? Something else like micronutrients or timing?

For context, I’m a 190 pound guy and this is pretty consistent week to week. Usually have these at the same time every week and I don’t eat anything else.

Curious if anyone here has experienced something similar or has insight into what might be going on.

Thanks in advance.
