On the roads between 11am-2pm, what are people actually doing?

So I have a sales job that requires me to be out and about in Auckland. I try to avoid meetings around rush hour or school collection times.... But in between I still sometimes get stuck in massive traffic....

Genuine question if you're in the road between 1100 to 1400hrs... What are you doing... Apart from the obvious tradies.... Are you WFH and on flexi-time? Retired, house wives/husbands? How can so many people be cruising around.... I guess people may think the same as me or what I'm doing on the road too, right?

Please drop a line and enlighten me if you are on the roads.
