I have a graphic design business and a pet sitting business (that has needed a lot of printed marketing materials). I have been thinking of doing POD business outside of using a major provider. So I have been thinking of doing a POD biz with my own equipment and production and shipping.

That being said I am looking into a good printer or I know there are tons of other types of printers these days, I like the idea of being able to be DTF for Shirts, Mugs, Stickers, Etc.

So two questions, Is it a terrible idea to start a POD company with own equipment?

Any reccommendations on equipment?
