Bought a house with 13 year old overly complicated home audio system. Sonos a good replacement?

Just bought a home with an audio system that has wired speakers throughout the first floor (2 in the living room, 2 in kitchen, 2 outdoors on the patio, 2 in the master, and possibly a plug for a sub). I have a server rack with what appears to be an overly complicated Elan system and an integra receiver. This system was designed 13 years ago and is managed by an AV company. I want to replace it with something easier to use, I can manage on my own, and more seamless to use. I will replace the speakers if needed but also open to leaving them. I want to be able to stream Spotify, and connect the audio from any TV or apple TV downstairs to the speakers. I would also like to be able to play the audio in specific rooms. I have not installed any TVs or sound bars yet bc I need to buy 3 new TVs (outside, living room, master). Is sonos a good option for this or should I just try to figure out this old school system? If so then what products should I be doing research on?
