the old DT80 is ready for the (off)roadtrip.

I posted about a week ago when my crankcase was filled with gear oil. tore down the engine last week, got the bearings and seals yesterday and put it all together today.

after finishing the engine rebuild and putting it back in the frame i build myself some budget enduro side bag railings and threw on my trusty bike bags. the big ol waterproof roll ontop for extra lugguage.

yes i know its not a minimalist setup but we dont use hotels or anything. we dont even use tents. we tarp somewhere in the forrest so i need space for clothes, tools, spareparts, my sleeping gear, my cooking equipment and beer. lots of space for beer.

that all being waterproof is a welcome benefit.

glad the rebuild went fine and luguage system is working primo.

feel free to tell me im an idiot. i kinda deserve it.
