Looking for cologne recommends to begin a collection

Hi all

I have been thinking lately that I should get myself some decent colognes for all the typical occasions but there's so many out there that I feel overwhelmed. I have ordered a few samples (listed below) but a lot are very strong (I don't want to be one of those guys who smells strongly of cologne).

I don't want to get many and I'm willing to pay however much (within reason).

I'm fairly average looking and not super masculine (although going to the gym currently to try to change that) but I understand how to dress etc. I don't wear cologne all the time and only to work (office), special occasions or dates. I don't want to wear a cologne that smells really obvious and in your face - I want more of a subtle and classy smell (a unique smell from what most guys wear would also be good).

Currently I pretty much only wear Solid State cologne which is a copy of TF Tobacco Vanille and I also have Sport Allure which I hardly use.

I ordered a few samples which I've listed below, and haven't tried them all but a lot do smell intense and as I said I'm not really wanting to go for that.

In your opinion, who was the best Prime Minister we never had?

I ask this noting that the poll on this sub on best Opposition Leaders who never became PM resulted in Bill Hayden winning, however this includes those who never became Opposition Leader or even leader of their party. To be mentioned here they'd have to have been a federal MP and a minister at one point (so no choosing Dan Andrews).

I personally would say that for Labor it would be Hayden or Simon Crean (terrible Op leader but decent minister), for the Liberals it would be Peter Costello (perhaps also Hewson and even Hasluck), and for the Nationals (yes I know that they don't usually get the job) it would be John Anderson.
