Update: Husband requested a little Loch Ness in a lake to decorate the previous visible mend.
Not super skilled in embroidery but I gave it a shot using the fly stitch and stem stitch. You can see I was figuring it out towards the bottom and I improved as I went up. He's delighted 😁.
